The story behind AllerEasy
AllerEasy began on the ground in hospitality – not in a boardroom.
Working for one of the largest holiday providers in the UK, I was responsible for keeping allergen information accurate across dozens of dishes, venues, and seasonal menus.
Every time a supplier changed an ingredient or a dish was tweaked, our allergen data had to be updated urgently. That usually meant wrestling with spreadsheets, chasing updated PDFs, and hoping the right version made it to every team and every guest.
It wasn’t good enough. Guests with allergies deserve absolute clarity, and teams deserve tools that make compliance easier – not harder.
So I started building my own system. AllerEasy is the result: a practical, real-world solution that connects your allergen sheets to a simple, branded digital menu front end, so everyone sees the same accurate information, every time.
